On the heels of a contest of original, giant, 16-piece, flawless, stroke settings by living composers, we now have a contest of even larger, more difficult, unpublished, stroke settings, featuring more spectacular sweeps, also by living composers. Stroke problems are often flawed by independent dual solutions. Contest 75 has been reviewed by others and is believed free of those defects.
You are invited to view this animated problem quartet and to vote for the one sweep that most impresses you. The most popular entry will be decided by the votes of visitors to this website like you. Your vote will also let you see immediately how others are voting.
If you choose to e-mail Bill Salot at wjsalot@comcast.net, disclosing how you voted, you will be put on the International Voters Ladder to determine who the best winner-picker is. Voters on the upper rungs of the ladder are published with the results of each contest. At the end of the year, we will identify the Voter-of-the-Year.
