JASNA Hawai`i resumes meetings after the summer break. The meeting will be online only; we pulled back our plan for a hybrid live/online meeting due to the recent surge in Covid cases.

We'll meet at 1:30 PM HST on Saturday, September 18, 2021, to discuss Uzma Jalaluddin's novel Ayesha At Last. If you're on the JASNA Hawai`i mailing list, you'll receive details about the video link ahead of the meeting date. If you're a JASNA member in another region, please write to us if you'd like to take part.

Ayesha At Last is readily available from Amazon or from the Hawai`i State Public Library System.

Looking forward, our joint effort with the Southwestern Region to put on a Pan-Pacific Jane Austen Conference in an online format is moving forward. At present we have commitments from speakers in five different countries. The date will be November 13 in the western hemisphere, corresponding to November 14 in the eastern. Stay tuned for more information.

Hope to see you in September and again in November!
