Unofficial World Championship Checker Problem Composing Contest 62

Breeches

May 14, 2022---June 30, 2022

This contest page has been viewed 74 times by 32 unique visitors.

Losing "Breeches" are suicidal positions that allow your opponent’s King to move between two of your pieces, stealing one. While considering it elementary, relatively advanced players occasionally allow it to their chagrin. Rarely does hidden play insidiously force opponents into losing "Breeches" but the problems in this contest surprisingly do just that. Help us decide which one is best by voting for it at contests.checkermaven.com. Get on the free Voters’ Ladder by divulging your vote to the e-mail address below the diagrams. Previously, such problems have been the hidden theme in only Contest 33, June 2017.
